Bellwork Nov 3

During Bellwork you read a section in your book. Tell us the title of your book and author. Then tell us what you read about. Or maybe your favorite part. Do you like the book? Would you recommend it to a friend to read? Why or Why Not?

    My book is Hatchet by Gary Paulsen. The main character Brian has crashed on an island. He is on the way to see his dad. I would recommend it to a friend. I like how he shares the adventures he is experiencing and what he learned from them. Like how important food is.

    the book im reading is the night of the living dummy 2 by R.L stine and the part i read was about that they had a thursday family sharing night and the most talented one was sara. while amy was doing her part she used a dummy while she was using it her head popped of and she got mad she told her dad that she wants a new one +

    my book is the skin i'm in based in a one novel by sharon G. Flake this book thy one girl is maltrated by your theacher in the school she is afroamerican and your theacher is rasist but the is deffended your self.

    the book i read is called secert admirer the book is about a girl named selena. selena is a popular girl she has it all shes smart and every one adores her but there a boy named the sun he keeps on sending her dead flowers...

    my book is Ramona Quimby age 8. the main characters are Ramona Quimby,Beatrice,Beezus,Mr.Quimby,Willa Jean,Howie Kemp's,and i dont new the other names of the characters.it takes place in school. and a 8 year old should read this book because i think its fun for them to read.

    I read that 2 kids stayed at a house that was giong ro be destroyed the next day. and a kid found a old baseball card with Babe Ruth on it. and the kid took it to a card shop and sold it to the owner of the store. the owner gave the kid $120 and the next day the owner was on tv saying that the card was worth alot

    My book is harryPotter and the Order Of TthePhoenix by J.K. Rowling.Harry is back in schoolafter seeing voldemort retern the previous year.I would recomend this book to someone.

    I read a book about skeleton man. talks about a man that gets hungry after a few hours and his family is out at the store. so he gets something out of the refrigerator and cooked it and burned his finger and then, he ate it and siad ahh.. that was good but, i am still hungry so he cooked up his other fingers till he ate all of his body.it is a reallly good book and i hope you enjoy it!

    I read party girl. its about a girl who belongs to a gang n she gets prenant by this guy. but she dosent want the baby so during a drive by she throws up her set so that she would get shot.

    My book is Diary of Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney the Whimoy Kid and his friend Rowley went to a haunted house with the Whimpy Kids mom and they were getting chased by a big man with a chainsaw and his mom said thats not nice and the man said im sorry ma'am.

    I read about a skeleton man. he gets very hungry and cooked food and accidently burned his finger and he bit it and he said ahhhh... that was good and then, he cooked his other finger still he ate all of his body parts.

    My book is about diary of a wimpy kid: Rodrick Rules. The main character is Greg Heffley. My favorite part is about anything funny happens to greg or when rodrick gives something to trick greg into getting in trouble. I do like reading this book because its funny and sometimes its hilarious. I won't recommend it to read to a friend because I like reading books to myself.

    My book is loser by jerry spinelli.The main character is zinkoff who is a big loser.Zinkoff wants to be just like his dad and dosnt like school at all. Zinkoff thinks he is realy smart but in class he actully awnsers all the queshtions wrong.Everybody calls zinkoff a loser but zink off dosnt notice it.

    We are thinking about using this book for a book club. I have not read it yet, but have it on order. Do you think it would make a good book to discuss in a group? Did you get the book from the library, or is it yours.
    Is Zinkoff his name or nickname? What grade are these kids?

    Yes its a good book to discuss in a group,i didnt get the book from the libary i got it from mrs.nisple room and the kids whole name is donald zonkoff zinkoff is his last name. zinkoff laughs alot at the most stupidest things alot.lol.zinkoff is in the first grade
